Depending on the length of a disaster of any kind, be it natural or unnatural, you may be your own emergency responder. You may have to protect not only yourself and your loved ones, but your neighbors as well. You may have to lead in defense of your neighborhood. If you are outside the city limits, you may be visited by hungry and dangerous people. They may not ask for what they need. They may be from a social environment that is void of the mannerisms you have. They may be of a violent nature.
There are many factors in a disaster situation that require the ability to defend yourself and fight at many levels of commitment, duration, and resolution. You must learn to commit yourself to a battle, no matter what the outcome, life or death. Your must learn to strengthen your mind and soul to the parameters of a battle situation. You must be physically able to handle a long fight.

When people hear the word aggression, their thoughts may go straight to violence, but that is not what aggression truly is in it’s essence. Aggression is merely a forceful committed consistent motion. Being aggressive can be in a loving way, just as much as in a violent way. A person can even fight in a loving state of mind and aggressive, keeping their mind clear of anger. This is good, because anger can cloud judgment and a fighter can make a move based on hate or revenge, leaving themselves open for a counter-strike.
In Mixed Martial Arts, part of the scoring is based on aggression. Which fighter is more committed to the contest, is figured into the final decision if a match goes the duration of the scheduled rounds. A fighter may have landed some good blows to the other opponent, but if the score is close, the other fighter may win on aggression points for being more diligent in wanting to join in violent combat. If they are more the aggressor, then they appear more dominant in the contest.

What if no meat was available in a situation of need for food for energy to survive? Would you know what else is available? Do you have more than just meat as your source for protein, Omega-3s, and amino acids? There are other sources for all these necessary nutritional building blocks, energy fuels, and healthy compounds.
There are many sources of protein. Many people get it mostly from eating meats that pack on the pounds and make them unhealthy due to not using it up in activity or combining it with starches and complex carbohydrates. I have a book titled “Fit For Life” that cover this in some detail. Eating meat proteins and starches together, creates a process in the body to happen, where the starches bond to the meat proteins and store it all as fat. Since learning this, I eat my meats in a separate meal, with at least one-half hour before eating any starches or carbohydrates.
